China Railways tickets can be reserved well before your planned travel date. However, please note that ticket confirmations typically occur approximately two weeks prior to the departure date.
After your tickets are successfully issued, the e-tickets will be sent directly to your registered email address. You can use your passport to check in at the railway station without the need for a physical ticket.
