The tickets are sent to your email address when confirmed with the carrier.
There are two types of confirmations: instant and manual.
Operators who confirm bookings instantly are connected to our systems directly. Confirmation is done automatically shortly after the booking has been placed. Such operators have an instant badge on their trips.
Operators not connected to our systems directly confirm bookings manually, meaning a staff worker at their end will go through all the bookings and confirm them one by one. As you can imagine, this process is more time-consuming and will take longer to confirm such bookings. Operators who employ this system have specific deadlines for confirmation. For example, some promise to confirm the booking within 24 hours after it has been placed but no earlier than three weeks before the departure date, etc. If you make a booking far in advance, receiving your trip confirmation may also take several months.
We measure the average time the previous customers received their tickets and show the information on your receipt below the booking number. It doesn't mean you will receive the ticket precisely then. Based on the time of the purchase, holiday seasons, and the operator's workload, it can be earlier or later.
