Before Ticket Confirmation or Issuance
If your booking has not yet been confirmed or the ticket has not been issued, you can request a change to the departure date. Our team will assist you in making the necessary adjustments.
After Ticket Confirmation or Issuance
Once your ticket has been confirmed and issued, you can no longer change the departure date. This policy is in accordance with Sri Lanka Railways’ ticketing regulations, which do not allow modifications after the issuance.
When Are Tickets Issued?
Typically, Sri Lanka Railways tickets are issued 28–30 days before the departure date for long routes, and 7-14 days for short ones. If your travel date is still beyond this issuance window, you have the flexibility to request changes.
