How Long Does a Refund Take?
Refund timelines depend on the payment method you used at checkout and the reason for the refund. Here's what to expect for each option.
PayPal
Refunds to PayPal are usually instant but may take up to 30 minutes to appear in your account. You'll receive a notification from us once the refund has been issued.
Please note: PayPal only allows refunds within 180 days of the original payment.
Debit Card
Debit card refunds typically arrive within 3–5 banking days of receiving our refund notification. This applies to partial refunds — for example, when only one booking from a multi-booking payment is refunded, or when a free cancellation or operator refund option is used.
Exception — payments made within the last 24 hours: If your payment was made within the last 24 hours, our payment processor will wait until the 24-hour mark before initiating the refund.
Exception — full refunds within 24 hours of payment: If you're receiving a full refund (for example, because your trip was canceled or our supplier couldn't secure your seat), your bank will typically cancel the original charge rather than process a separate refund transaction. You may not receive a separate refund notification — please check your bank statement directly.
Please note: Debit and credit card refunds must be initiated within 365 days of the original payment.
Credit Card
Credit card refund timelines are set by your card provider and can vary. Please check with your bank or card issuer after receiving our refund notification for an accurate timeline.
Please note: The 365-day limit applies to credit cards as well.
Bank Transfer (THB / PHP / MYR (via Razor online bank only))
Refunds via bank transfer typically take 3–7 banking days after issuance, depending on the local banking system and processing times.
Please note:
- The refund will be returned to the original bank account used for the payment.
- Processing times may vary by bank and country.
- In some cases, intermediary bank fees may apply and are outside of our control.
Internal Credit (Non-Refundable Payment Methods)
If your original payment method is non-refundable, or if the refund window for your PayPal or card has expired, the refund will be issued as credit instead. This is instant — the funds are available in your account immediately after you receive the refund notification, and can be used toward any future purchase on the website.
